Run it in SW and tell us what the crash log says.
For some silly reason HW doesn't have a little pop-up telling you why the game crashed.

Re: Carstockalypse and Vista Home
You can edit the OPPONENT.TXT manually??? No shit??? In the ten years C2 has been around NO ONE, absouletly NO ONE ever discovered that before... I'm sure most people know this, it is kind of obvious, but Matt may, and probably does not. It's a simple cut and paste solution for the problem he poste...

The 70 and The 74 are practically the same model.

Also, I had to make it a separate car, as the '74 mesh itself had to be modified to make this.

Re: Deathproof
Well, I worked out the problems I was having and I have a beta/WIP release for you guys. Enjoy. It should have no compatibility issues with Slayer's stock Nova. I still have to tweak the physics some more and the license plates still have to be retextured, but so far it works and is in the game. So ...

Ok, I'm having some problems with my CarEd.
I cannot compile the model in CarEd. I get no popup error message, but nothing actually happens and the dos prompt reads:
CarEd tutorial here and the packed CarEd manual does not help.

The grey spots don't look good though(unfortunately, theres plenty more on the drivers side). I had meant to paint over it, but couldn't find any spray cans of a similar color. Oh well, it will hold it till I get a proper paint job. I shit you not, house paint and a roller do a damn fine job if you...

Personally, I think it works well. Most of the tracks in the game are huge already, so it's kind of cool having a small box o' death map to mix things up. But, you obviously have talent so your next track should be more ambitious.
